About Mylene

iammylene

Hi! I am Mylene. I’m glad that you came to visit my site. I hope you find my posts useful, interesting, and worth your time. 🙂

I :

  • am married to a wonderful, loving husband
  • a mother of a beautiful, sweet baby girl
  • am a software engineer at Accenture Austin, USA
  • used to be a Web Developer at Active Rail Technology Solutions, Davao City
  • used to teach IT and CompSci subjects to college students in Mindanao State University – General Santos City (MSU-Gensan), University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP), ACLC GenSan (part-time), Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU, part-time), and Stratford International (part-time)
  • did part-time jobs at ODesk as a virtual assistant/researcher/blogger. (Had a wonderful chance to work with my Filipina IT geek idol, Sacha Chua).
  • love chocolates, cheese-flavored chips, pasta, flowers, sunsets, paintings, books and traveling
  • also love spending time and chilling out with friends and family.

I am happy when I am with the people I love – my husband, daughter and our families/friends, when I see my loved ones happy, and when I make others happy! =)

I am interested in people, what makes them tick, what makes them laugh, what makes them cry.

  3. Maam, why not add a Programming category sa imo blog? Hehe. suggestion lang.. para mka axe mi ug question via the web. I’m a 3rd year BSIT student from USeP. Kasi walang comment system dun sa Google Sites. 😥

    1. Hi Sey-krit!

Thank you for the suggestion. I’ll do just that! 🙂
The Google site is a little weird coz when you are the owner of the site, you can leave comments on the pages but if you’re only a viewer, the feature is disabled. Anyway, I’ll be adding a Page on Programming on this blog. Thanks to you!

  4. how about forum nlang maam? haha. PHPbb.
haha. wala pa man gud ko kakita ug teacher na nag use ug forum to interact with student via web. suggestion lng jud ni maam. haha! qng busy ka, pde ako nlang mag setup sa forum. :))

    – ni kiat lagi ko? haha.
    good day maam!

    1. Hi!

Sorry for the late reply. I’ve been so busy lately…
Nway, sige, let’s talk about that forum one of these days, ok? I researched on how to add a forum to my Google site to no avail.. 😦 I guess I really have to resort to PHPbb.. I wanted kasi to have everything in one site na lang sana… But anyway, we can just use PHPbb na lang muna… You can help me set it up. 😉

By the way, thanks for the brilliant idea! 🙂
